multiply fast mentally vedic maths

Well - most of us want our kids to multiply fast WITHOUT calculators, specially kids in 7th to 10 standards, where they need to multiply big numbers but no calculators; let them try these. today i am discussing 2 digit by 2 digit. next post will be 3 by 3 digit.

step 1: first place line vertical, keep carry a little down to remember to add it to next step answer;

crosswise; add previous place carry; 

keep new carry a little down to remember to add it to next step answer;

 step 3: second place line vertical, add previous place carry;
